Role overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Compliance Officer to build and lead the compliance management function for Allianz Services GmbH, a newly formed international service company, part of the Allianz Group, following a successful carve-out. With operations across multiple countries, the company will launch as a fully independent entity in mid-2026. This role will be instrumental in establishing a robust compliance management framework from day one. It ensures the safeguarding on the own operations as well as on the services that we provide to our customers in alignment with Allianz Group’s standards and regulatory requirements.

 

What you do:

  • Advising Senior Management and Supervisory Board of the Group on compliance risks and overall compliance with external requirements and internal corporate rules; material changes in legal and regulatory environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a global compliance management system in accordance with the requirements and including all tasks as set out in the respective Compliance policy.  
  • Advocate Allianz Groups’ and Allianz Services' compliance positions by coordination and interaction with all relevant stakeholders in relation to its compliance risks. 
  • Establishing effective regulatory compliance function to ensure early warning and monitoring and whether adequate and effective internal procedures are in place to adhere to relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal corporate rules.  
  • Member and/or chair of relevant committees (including Compliance Committee, Governance and Control Committee, Integrity Committee, etc.) 
  • Representing Allianz Services in the Group international compliance leadership meetings and various business work-streams and committees 
  • Creating and sustaining strong and collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders within Allianz Services, Group centers and other operating entities and global lines 
  • Leveraging of available and possible digital solutions for compliance risks prevention and mitigation  
  • Steering and managing compliance risk assessment 
  • Proactively identifying emerging compliance risks and trends, develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to support management of compliance risks  
  • Steering and managing compliance Group compliance quality assurance program 
  • Supporting group strategy through comprehensive compliance risk prevention and mitigation programs and processes 
  • Facilitate effective trainings and communication to drive understanding and employees ownership of the compliance risks 
  • Management and oversight of compliance investigations  
  • Steering strategies and plans to manage compliance misconduct  
  • Lead and manage compliance function and department  
  • Maintain sound organizational structure with adequate size, capabilities and experience proportionate to the nature and complexity of the Group’s business and its compliance risk profile  
  • To ensure necessary skillset of the compliance department via required trainings and upskilling development 


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
  • Professional compliance certifications (e.g. CCEP, CRCM, ICA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Ideally 10 plus years of progressive experience in compliance management within global service or financial organizations, at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in building or transforming teams.
  • Deep understanding of compliance across operational, and strategic domains, preferably within a group or multinational context.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills at executive and board levels.
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages (especially German or regional languages) are a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed (approx. 30–40%).
