About the Job
As a Data Privacy And AI Trust Specialist you will play a key role in Allianz Technology SE’s commitment to safeguarding personal data, ensuring compliance with Allianz Technology Privacy and AI standards, and enhancing data privacy and AI Trust across its operations and programmes.
The Data Privacy And AI Trust Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing data protection and AI policies, advising the business on data privacy and AI related matters, conducting privacy and ethics risk assessments, managing data breaches, and promoting a culture of data privacy and AI Trust across the organization.
What you do
- Lead the implementation and review of Allianz Technology SE’s privacy and AI Standards and Functional Rules, ensuring alignment with the Allianz Group on Privacy and AI.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments, ethics risk assessment, transfer risk assessment recommending appropriate mitigations.
- Advise and provide guidance to the business, privacy champions, etc. on compliance with privacy and AI regulations and principles, including privacy-by-design, data minimization, data processing agreements, etc.
- Provide support in managing and responding to data subject access requests, privacy related complaints and personal data incidents in compliance with relevant regulations
- Develop and deliver general and tailored training, as well as awareness activities aimed at building a strong culture of privacy and AI Trust within Allianz Technology SE.
- Provide support in the monitoring and assurance activities (e.g. review, spot check, control testing, audit, etc.) to ensure compliance with the Allianz Technology SE’s privacy and AI Standards and Functional Rules as well as reporting and tracking the issues to ensure closure of the gaps (if any).
- Lead or coordinate privacy/AI related projects and contribute to improvements to privacy processes, mechanisms, and tooling including developing SOP’s and relevant documentation.
What you bring
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy, risk management, information security, audit or compliance.
- Academic background in Legal, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or similar disciplines (Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience) with demonstrated deep knowledge on privacy and in depth understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Privacy /AI Certifications (CIPP-EU, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP) would be a plus.
- Excellent command of German and English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Power Point, Word, Excel with experience in presenting content, e.g., in training courses or when reporting to management.
- Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines and manage own workload. Respect and enjoys the diversity of cultural, social and academic backgrounds found in Allianz Technology Group.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business as well as the ability to work well in both a team and individually.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
