Role Overview

 

The Global Head Financial Reporting, Governance & Transformation is responsible for consolidating AZ Services financial results and communicating financials to relevant stakeholders. Moreover, he/she functionally governs and manages all AZ Services financial systems and tools as well as transforms existing internal financial processes and tools for efficiency and usability. In this role he/she collaborates with cross-functional departments, and ensures that finance-related commercial disputes between suppliers/clients and AZ Services are resolved.


What you do:


Financial Reporting
- Quality assure and consolidate monthly financial results and provide AZ Services Financials report to the EMT
- Provide quarterly input to FRDC
- Conduct plan/actual deviation analysis for cost categories, e.g., on IT costs, travel costs, non-IT consulting spend, and steer adherence to the budget
- Provide non-financial reporting (e.g., ESG KPIs)


Financial Technical Governance & Transformation
- Functionally govern and manage all AZ Services financial systems and tools, e.g., SAP master data governance (Global Standard SAP CO/BW hierarchy in line with Service Taxonomy), financial software governance, technical support for month-end closing 
- Business-wise own financial modules in MS Dynamics
- Transform existing reporting into real-time and centralized self-service reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI dashboards) 
- Increase efficiencies of internal financial processes (pricing, planning/budgeting, reporting and forecasting) through standardization and leveraging (AI-augmented) automation solutions
- Contribute to building a holistic data cube that enables AZ Services to steer the customer portfolio in terms of growth, profitability, and services portfolio development
- Resolve finance-related commercial disputes between suppliers/clients and AZ Services

 

What you bring:

 

- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in related field of Finance, Accounting and/or Controlling Financial & Management reporting and analysis experience desired
- Technical Proficiency: The candidate should have experience with financial systems and tools, such as SAP master data governance, financial software governance, and MS Dynamics. They should also be capable of transforming reporting into real-time, centralized self-service solutions using tools like Power BI 
- Process Understanding: Understanding of the existing process landscape, standards, and organization, as well as relevant products, services, and applications
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, including the ability to negotiate with a diverse audience, often at a senior level
