Head of Global Data Products (m/f/d)

About the Job

As Head of Global Data Products at Allianz Technology, you will own the strategic roadmap and end-to-end delivery of Allianz's shared data products and services — spanning Group Anti-Fraud, Cat Analytics, GEOspatial Information Systems and the Global Data Layer.

Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytical Platforms, you will lead a global, cross-functional team and serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders across Allianz Group on all data and analytics topics.

What you do

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for shared data products and services, aligned to Allianz Group's business and IT strategy, including the adoption of AI/GenAI and Agentic frameworks
• Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise-grade data products (Anti-Fraud, Cat Tools & Analytics, ALEx/MIS, GEOspatial, Global Data Layer, Process Mining), ensuring governance, compliance, security, and performance standards
• Drive innovation by embedding AI, ML, and real-time analytics capabilities into product roadmaps, transforming shared services to be future-ready
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of data engineers, architects, product managers, and analytics professionals across multiple geographies
• Build and sustain executive-level stakeholder relationships across Allianz Group business units and IT leadership; represent the team in steering committees and industry forums
• Manage the department budget, vendor contracts, and SLA performance — ensuring commercial sustainability, cost efficiency, and consistent service quality
• Secure OE commitments and investment funds for new and evolving data products; manage customer escalations and drive continuous service improvement

What you bring

• Deep expertise in modern data architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data integration technologies, and enterprise governance frameworks
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills — proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing global teams
• Executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to abstract complexity and drive senior-level decisions
• Strong business acumen, including budget management, vendor negotiation, and commercial product ownership
• Solid understanding of AI/ML technologies and their practical application; hands-on experience with Agentic Development Lifecycles is a strong plus
• 10+ years of experience in data and analytics leadership within large, global organizations, with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale platforms and solutions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
