Department Description & Job Purpose
Allianz Consulting's Finance and Transaction Services team supports large-scale transformation and consolidation initiatives across the Allianz Group. We are currently working on Ibero Play, a cross-border consolidation project insourcing Policy Administration and Claims front-office work from AZ Spain into AZ Services Portugal. The project is live since August 2026 and scaling from an initial pilot team toward full operational capacity by year-end.
As an intern, you will support the project team in day-to-day coordination, documentation, and tracking across multiple parallel workstreams — gaining hands-on exposure to how a live, multi-country consulting engagement is run in practice.
Key responsibilities

- Own document and knowledge management: maintain Teams channels and SharePoint structure, manage version control and access, and keep a single source of truth for business case versions, the risk register, and project trackers
- Support meeting logistics: scheduling, minutes, action item tracking, and follow-ups through to closure
- Manage the project calendar: milestones, go/no-go gates, training deadlines, and scaling checkpoints
- Coordinate across workstreams: consolidate weekly status updates covering training, subrogation, risk assessment, and funding topics
- Contribute to onboarding and handover materials as the team scales
- Support the use of GenAI tools in documentation and reporting
- Provide ad hoc support: translation, quick research, and data pulls
Key requirements

- Available for approximately 12 months, with flexibility for full-time hours during peak periods (e.g. gap year or semester break)
- Basic understanding of AI frameworks and the ability to utilize AI tools in everyday tasks. Interest in supporting clients in adopting AI for successful business transformation
- Strong command of MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Deep interest of GenAI, automation and RPA tools is a big plus
- Strong command in English. German, Spanish or/and Portuguese languages are a strong plus
- Valid visa and residence permit for the duration for the duration of the internship
