Central Functions Practice Area & Job Purpose
The Practice Area supports Allianz Operating Entities (on Finance & HR topics) and internal stakeholders with structured consulting and delivery services across a range of strategic and operational topics. The team combines analytical thinking, strong project management, and reliable execution to translate Group priorities into practical, implementable initiatives. Working closely with cross‑functional partners and the wider consulting network, the Practice Area provides scalable support aligned with Group standards while addressing local business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support Engagement Manager / project team with specific tasks, ensuring timely delivery and quality of outputs.
- Assist in developing AI-driven tools and reports to support decision-making for senior executives.
- Learn and apply AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to create simple workflows and solutions for business needs.
- Help prototype and test AI-powered solutions for HR and insurance business transformation projects.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives on AI tools and their applications.
- Support tasks related to insurance business transformation, such as analyzing processes, preparing presentations, and gathering insights.
Key requirements
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Business, HR, Data Science, or a related field.
- Interest in AI tools and their practical applications in business.
- Basic understanding of business processes, project management, or change management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; willingness to learn advanced functions.
- Curiosity about insurance and financial services is a plus.
- Fluency in English; German is an advantage but not required.
- Availability to work 38 hours per week in-person during the internship perio, starting 1st of August 2026
