Department Description & Job Purpose 

 

Allianz Consulting, part of Allianz Services, is the in house global consulting partner of the Allianz Group. Headquartered in Munich and active across more than seven international locations, it brings together 650+ consultants who deliver end to end services across the full consulting value chain—from strategy and transformation to implementation.

The CCO & Head of Allianz Consulting Office supports the Chief Customer Officer of Allianz Services and Global Head of Allianz Consulting in steering the global consulting organization. The office ensures effective coordination across regions, service clusters, and leadership teams, acting as the central hub for governance, stakeholder alignment, and the execution of strategic and operational priorities.

The intern will contribute to advancing AI adoption and development within Allianz Consulting. The role includes identifying and supporting AI use cases, enhancing internal productivity, preparing communication and enablement materials, and supporting broader innovation and transformation initiatives. Close collaboration with the Head of Office ensures aligned, high quality support across cross functional AI related activities.


Key responsibilities 


 
•    Support identification, prioritization, and documentation of AI and GenAI use cases across Allianz Consulting.

•    Assist in maintaining and improving the internal AI use case library, including consolidation and governance preparation.
•    Contribute to developing templates, checklists, and consulting assets supporting AI related initiatives.
•    Support research and insight generation on AI scaling, responsible AI, and emerging data/AI topics.

•    Collaborate with the CCO Office and the internal AI Adoption team to ensure alignment on AI priorities and execute strategy.
•    Assist in preparation of materials for workshops, coordination sessions, and leadership updates on AI initiatives.


Key requirements

 

•    Enrollment in a German University (for working student positions) or (for an internship) in a gap year. Student status throughout the duration of the contract.  

•    Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to break down complex AI/GenAI topics into clear, structured insights.
•    Foundational understanding of AI, GenAI, data platforms, or analytics, such as familiarity with AI use cases, prompt design, or data quality concepts.
•    Strong communication skills, enabling clear drafting of guidance materials, templates, and concise AI related enablement content.

•    Collaborative mindset and stakeholder awareness, with the ability to work across multiple workstreams
•    Proactive working style, comfortable navigating evolving priorities (quick win use cases, alignment workshops, cross team coordination).
•    Strong interest in consulting environments and willingness to support innovation topics that improve consultant productivity and operational efficiency.

•    You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 4 to 6 months in full-time (38h/week)
