Department Description & Job Purpose 

 

The Data and AI Transformation team builds AI accelerators used primarily to support migration projects across the organization. Our work spans software components, migration tooling, and modeling accelerators that help teams move faster and more reliably between systems, platforms, and data models. We combine software engineering practices with applied AI to solve real transformation challenges at scale.

We are looking for a motivated intern with a background in Computer Science and a strong interest in DevOps and Software Engineering, currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Master's degree in AI. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with a team building production-grade accelerators, gaining exposure to both the engineering and AI/modeling sides of migration projects.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software components used in migration accelerators
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure tooling.
  • Assist in building and evaluating AI/modeling components used in migration and transformation workflows
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists on ongoing migration projects
  • Help document and improve internal tools and processes

 

 

Key requirements

 

  • Enrollment in a German University (for working student positions) or (for an internship) in a gap year. Student status throughout the duration of the contract.  
  • Genuine interest in DevOps and software engineering practices
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and comfort working in a collaborative team environment

 

  • You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 4 to  6 months in full-time (38h/week)
