Department Description & Job Purpose
The intern position is aimed towards legal and business professionals interested in developing a career in the field of Compliance and Regulatory consulting and developing services that enhance the compliance function in both project-based and ongoing operations. Interns support consultants in both project-based challenges and run service design, to respond to Allianz internal clients. The position is based in Munich, Germany.
Key responsibilities
- Support project-based work required by Allianz internal customers in the fields of Compliance and Regulatory.
- Support run service development work in the field of Compliance required by Allianz internal customers
- Support research and coordination activities aimed to solve our client’s Compliance and Regulatory requirements.
- Taking care of project-related tasks, including all project deadlines and deliverables in the context of customer and stakeholder management.
- Analysis and implementation of upcoming compliance legislation across different Allianz entities around the world.
Key requirements
- Enrollment in a German University, or (for an internship) in a gap year
- University degree in business, economics, law, or information technology. Other related university degrees may apply.
- Masters’ degree in a relevant field is desirable.
- No prior job experience is required for this position.
- English (C1) & German (B2) proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.
- Good MS Office proficiency (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
- Sound understanding of general legal and business concepts.
- Strong team player attitude with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.
- You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 4 to 6 months in full-time (38h/week)
