The Cloud and Data Center services (CDC) department provides IT infrastructure services, like compute, operating systems, storage, middleware and databases, in the cloud and our own data centers.
You will be joining and supporting our commercial service management team, which handles the financial activities for the CDC services. The team is located in Munich, Barcelona and Bucharest. We are looking for someone in Munich. The work environment is international and communication mostly in English.
What you do
- Assist in developing chatbots and virtual assistants for internal finance operations
- Collaborate on natural language processing (NLP) solutions for document processing and customer service
- Support integration of AI tools with existing financial systems and workflows
- Support development of AI agents for financial data analysis and commercial process automation
- Work in an agile environment as an active member of an internationally distributed team
- Be part of a small self-organized team of interns and working students
What you bring
- Student in STEM fields, preferably final year(s) of the studies
- Strong foundation in programming languages (Python, Java, Typescript, or similar)
- Good understanding of generative AI and machine learning concepts (LLM, MLLM, RAG)
- Understanding of APIs and data integration concepts
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- SQL knowledge for database interactions
- Good to have: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy)
- High motivation, curiosity to learn, and adaptability to new situations with a creative and solution-oriented mindset
- Analytical thinking and an independent, proactive, precise, and reliable work style
- Enjoyment in communication and teamwork in a hybrid work environment, with fluent English (written and spoken)
You can start immediately and are interested in an internship (38 h/week) for a period of ideally 6 months or a working student position (16-20 h/week).
