Intern/Working Student GenAI & IT Transformation Program (m/f/d)
Unterföhring (bei München), DE, 85774
About the Job
You think AI first? So do we.
At Allianz Technology, the Gearshift Integration and Transformation Project is at the heart of one of the most exciting digital transformations — building the foundation that will power Allianz’s German IT well into the future. As part of the program, you won’t be on the sidelines: you’ll be embedded in an interdisciplinary & international team of technology and business experts, working on real AI-driven solutions that have a tangible impact across the organization.
In this role, approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to our Generative AI workstream, where you’ll help shape and drive AI adoption across the organization. The remaining ~30% gives you exposure to the broader Head of IT Office and other I&T Program topics — offering you a well-rounded perspective on IT strategy, transformation management, and executive-level operations.
If you’re energized by emerging technology and ready to get truly hands-on — not just observe, but build, test, and drive real change — this is where you belong.
What you do
- Champion GenAI use cases across our teams — from testing early prototypes to driving new ideas from concept to reality — by working closely with persona-driven approaches to deeply understand our colleagues, their workflows, and the challenges they face every day
- Build expertise and own different personas and knowledge domains within the GenAI program
- Support change initiatives, identify inefficiencies, and proactively implement automated workflows to improve how we work
- Create and maintain structured documentation for projects, processes, and learnings within the GenAI program
- Draft and generate engaging internal and external communications including our Confluence pages, newsletters, announcements, and regular updates to ensure progress and impact are visible and well understood
- Independently conduct and present research on GenAI trends, tools, and use cases to support informed decision-making
- You will have the freedom to propose your own ideas and the responsibility to execute them
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and decision documents for program updates and management meetings
- Gain exposure to other I&T Program workstreams (e.g. Global Collaboration, Process Enablement, Business Case) and contribute to cross-cutting topics as needed
- Assist in the conceptual preparation, organization, and follow-up of internal management meetings and workshops
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial or Software Engineering, Innovation and Transformation Management, Change Management, or a related field
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with common AI and GenAI tools is mandatory, along with a strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to draft accurate, clear documents and presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams); experience with task automation or new software tools is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and propose creative solutions in use case development, process improvements, and prototyping
- Proactive, self-reliant, and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaborate effectively across teams
- Fluency in English and German is required
You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position (16-20 h/week) or an internship (38 h/week) for a period of ideally 6 months or longer.
