As part of Allianz Technology's Legal Function, you will advise the company's business segment Allianz Services on all legal areas (except tax law and labor law) with a special focus on corporate and commercial law. You will provide business oriented legal advice to ensure the Allianz Services business and safeguard the interests of the company, to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. You will team with colleagues from different geographies worldwide to resolve complex cross-border legal issues

 

What you do:

  • You will provide business oriented legal advice concerning all aspects of law (except tax and labor law), with a special focus on commercial law matters and corporate law.
  • You will negotiate complex commercial agreements, in particular global service agreements, vendor agreements, and other partnership agreements
  • You will draft and update Allianz Services' corporate rulebook and advice on all aspects of corporate governance and corporate housekeeping.
  • You will advise on legal aspects related to the inter-company service delivery by Allianz Services as service provider of the Allianz Group.
  • You will raise the level of awareness and understanding in the business for legal issues, risks and mitigation measures and act as a bridge between functions and the business for handling legal challenges.
  • You will stay up to date with legal developments and industry trends to provide proactive legal advice and support.
  • You will develop and maintain legal templates and team know-how and help upskill the Legal Function not only regarding legal expertise, but also regarding technical solutions and developments (e.g. GenAI).
     

What you bring:

  • German qualified lawyer (at least 16 points combined from First and Second State Exams).
  • English: business fluent.
  • 3+ years of experience in providing legal counsel within an international law firm or international inhouse environment.
  • Experience analyzing information, identify patterns, and provide practical solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Comfortable managing work independently while partnering across a diverse team; tackles legal challenges with curiosity, urgency, and applicable solutions.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and expanding expertise.
  • Experienced in high-stakes negotiations and executive communications; combine a collaborative, pragmatic style with urgency and momentum.
