Key responsibilities / You will get to:
- Manage client project teams and be accountable for client relationships, quality of deliverables and achievement of project milestones, acting on behalf of or at the recommendation of the Managing Partner of the practice area.
- Empower Engagement Managers and Consultants to lead their project teams to successfully achieve all set objectives, while coaching and mentoring them and supporting their development, and ensure a healthy and motivated staff rotation
- Build long-term relationships with internal Allianz clients (i.e. business units in Life and Asset Management, corporate holding functions) and actively seek / win business engagements whilst also developing service solutions to meet their needs
- Contribute to the achievement of all objectives and deliverables by meeting the team's mutually agreed revenue, cost and profit KPIs
- Contribute to the development of Allianz Consulting's expertise in our strategic development areas
- Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Consulting, including internal knowledge sharing and team events
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to the area of Life & Asset Management business including good understanding of Life products and distribution channels
Key requirements / What you should bring:
- University degree or equivalent
- At least 10 years' experience in operational business or management consulting, change management, business transformation or initiative development and implementation
- Strong leadership and team management skills on Allianz Executive Level
- Enthusiastic about working in a diverse and international environment with the ability to inspire, motivate, train and develop others
- Ability to manage different stakeholders and management levels across different business units and corporate holding functions
- Strong analytical thinking skills that help you organize and prioritize your tasks
- Knowledge of training methods in the insurance and financial services sector, as well as consulting methods, tools and techniques including AI tools and technologies in project delivery
- Excellent command of English and German
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance and asset management strategies of European financial services firms, whilst also building up similar expertise in Allianz’s own operations over time
- Ideally cross-OE experience in strategy or product development areas with a solid network in with C-level and functional head roles at various Allianz OEs
- Openness to innovate and the willingness to foresee and drive transformation in Life & Asset Management
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of AI frameworks, leverage AI tools in everyday tasks, and consult clients on AI adoption for successful business transformation
