Job Purpose/Role:

Our global service line (GSL) provides project and RUN services to Allianz entities. As an inhouse consulting team, we proactively advise our clients (entities) on strategic developments, leverage our internal knowledge of the organization and implement innovative solutions in the area of safeguarding. Our team focusses on projects and engagements in the domains of (1) operational risk management with focus on Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) and (2) resilience, which covers topics as Business Continuity Management, Incident Coordination, IT Service Continuity Management and others. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engagements and accounts with clients and ensure quality of own and the team’s deliverables and milestone achievements
• Lead projects and engagements, manage workstreams and guide teams of consultants on projects
• Manage communications and project timelines, while providing advice for clients and linking the project and activities to the strategic framework of Allianz
• Take responsibility of business development and lead client pitches in collaboration with an Engagement Manager.
• Ensure continuous learning of the team and manage active knowledge sharing within your domain. Drive service development for safeguarding areas and create / follow leads for project and service opportunities
• Manage internal projects within Allianz Services, including internal knowledge sharing, team events, strategic development of the service and team, etc.
• Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks and support other consultants with expertise and strategic orientation

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safeguarding functions (e.g. operational risk management with focus on Non-financial risks, resilience, or project management).
• Relevant business experience on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management or Internal Risk & Controls Systems which preferably includes designing and implementing risk & control frameworks, understanding risk methodologies. Alternatively, relevant business experience in Business Continuity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Incident or Crisis coordination, or other resilience relevant areas.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, internal controls testing or implementing mitigation solutions is preferred.
• Proven track record and relevant experience in either project management, change management, business transformation or initiative development and implementation is a requirement.
• Experience with managing internal or external clients (consulting) and client focus is required.
• Great communication skills to communicating with a broad range of audiences and seniority levels in every international set up and excellent command in English to prepare and deliver presentations and reports (other languages are a plus). The ability to change communication and leadership style according to audiences or situations is desired.
• Solving problems mindset, experienced in agile and flexible approaches to manage unforeseen or uncertain situations, and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking
• PowerPoint and Excel skills (can perform complex functions) are required and experience in other GRC tools are preferred.
• Working language is English, but German language skills are desired and a clear plus as many of our customers are based in Germany.
