Role Overview
Allianz Services Transformation (CTO) serves as Allianz’s global Business Transformation Engine, operating across Munich, Bucharest, Trivandrum, Mauritius, and New York City. Within this organisation, Productivity Solutions & Innovation (PSI) leads the Group’s AI‑driven transformation, covering AI advisory, diagnostics through process and task mining, and rule‑based as well as agentic hyperautomation.
PSI is structured to deliver end‑to‑end AI productivity services. Our core capabilities include:
- AI Advisory & Transformation Management
- Innovation Screening & Testing
- Process Diagnostics using Process & Task Mining
- Low‑code / No‑code Automation
- Rule‑based Automation
- Multi‑agent Systems
- Organisational AI Enablement
- AI Project & Portfolio Management
As a Senior Transformation Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of AI and automation initiatives, working closely with Allianz entities and internal stakeholders. You will support transformation projects from opportunity identification through solution design and rollout, ensuring alignment with Group standards and measurable business impact. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support stakeholder communication, and help scale successful solutions across the Group.
Experience in AI‑enabled transformation, digital delivery environments, or consulting roles is valuable. Strong communication skills and the ability to structure complex topics are important. German language skills (B1+) are beneficial for this Munich‑based role.
What you do:
- Support the design, delivery, and scaling of AI and automation solutions.
- Manage or contribute to transformation initiatives across Allianz entities, ensuring alignment with Group standards.
- Identify and analyse opportunities for automation, GenAI, and diagnostic solutions.
- Coordinate with technical and business teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Apply process and task mining insights to support process optimisation initiatives.
- Prepare analyses, recommendations, and progress updates for senior stakeholders.
- Promote best‑practice sharing, reuse of solutions, and efficient delivery models across the Group.
What you bring:
- Strong academic background; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, or related fields.
- Exposure to insurance, financial services, or complex enterprise environments is an advantage.
- Agile/ Scrum, Cloud, AI, or GenAI certifications highly valued.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- German and/or French language skills (B1+) are a plus.
- Commitment to teamwork, diversity, and continuous learning.
