About the Job 

Corporate Information Security (CIS) is the core department and central driver for Information Security Governance in Allianz Technology SE. The division is tasked to continue evolving a strong security organization, establishing global security solutions and countermeasures, and overseeing the effectiveness and guiding the implementation of security controls. The CIS function at Allianz Technology helps to protect the organization's digital assets, maintain customer trust, and support business continuity.

 

As Team Leadof Security Architecture, you will play a crucial role in implementing Security Capabilities that ensure a robust security posture and compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes overseeing security technologies, applications, tools, solutions, and processes to ensure security by design, effective control implementation, and continuous improvement

 

 

What you do

  • Lead a team of security architects, embedding security by design throughout the organization. Guide solution and tribe architects within the organization in documenting security concepts.
  • Set the mission, vision, and strategy for security architecture in line with Allianz's business and IT strategy.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to assess the effectiveness and coverage of security capabilities, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Initiate projects to implement new security capabilities or enhance existing ones.
  • Design and implement security processes and ensure that IT processes relevant to security are designed and implemented with security considerations.
  • Oversee projects relevant to security architecture, ensuring that the minimum documentation, including high-level architecture, is reviewed and required improvements/adjustments are adopted by the project.
  • Provide information security consulting and liaison with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the Security Champions Community, fostering knowledge exchange, best practices and embedding security gateways in service teams.

 

What you bring

  • University degree in computer science or natural sciences, or equivalent professional experience with 8+ years in Information and IT Security fields
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse, international teams, driving strategic objectives and fostering collaboration in complex enterprise environments
  • Professional experience with cloud technologies, related security processes, controls, and sound knowledge of IT security technologies and architecture
  • Expertise in information security management systems and industry standards (ISO270xx, COBIT5/2019) with experience developing security policies and procedures
  • Agile mindset with practical experience in agile methodologies, ability to handle high workload with independence, judgment, and initiative
  • Proficient English with excellent international communication skills, including preparing professional documentation for various audiences and senior management
  • Good working knowledge in German or willingness to acquire it
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
