Role overview


As part of Allianz Services GmbH's Legal Function, you will advise on corporate and governance matters, with a special focus on Board and Supervisory Board support, notarial transactions, and corporate housekeeping. You will provide business-oriented legal advice to enable sound governance, ensure the company's corporate bodies are supported professionally, and safeguard compliance with applicable corporate law requirements. You will team with colleagues from various geographies worldwide to coordinate cross-border governance and transaction matters.


What you do

  • Prepare and organize Board and Supervisory Board meetings, including drafting agendas, resolutions, minutes and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate and support notarization processes, including preparing powers of attorney, coordinating with notaries, and handling related filings (e.g., commercial register).
  • Support the maintenance of good corporate governance, acting as the central point of contact for the company's corporate bodies on procedural and legal matters relating to their functioning.
  • Prepare, review and maintain corporate documents such as shareholder resolutions, articles of association, and corporate register extracts.
  • Advise on corporate law aspects of transactions, restructurings, and intra-group reorganizations.
  • Manage the corporate calendar and ensure statutory deadlines (e.g., filings, meeting cadences, reporting obligations) are met.
  • Raise the level of awareness and understanding in the business for governance requirements, risks and mitigation measures, and act as a bridge between functions and the business on governance topics.
  • Stay abreast of legal developments in corporate and governance law to provide proactive advice and support.
  • Develop and maintain governance templates and playbooks, and contribute to upskilling the Legal Function, including on technical solutions and developments (e.g. GenAI).


What you bring

  • German qualified lawyer or transaction lawyer/ Wirtschaftsjurist
  • German and English: business fluent
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in corporate law, transactional work, or governance support, ideally combining law firm training with in-house experience
  • Solid knowledge of German corporate law (GmbH/AG), notarial process, and commercial register practice
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring governance processes and deadlines reliably
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to governance and transaction matters
  • A strong interest in constant upskilling & learning
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with a positive, pragmatic, and dynamic approach to legal practice
