Role overview

We are looking for an innovative, visionary and commercially minded Solution Manager to architect and spearhead the next generation of productivity solutions in insurance and financial services. You have a proven track record in intelligent automation and are seeking a dynamic environment to accelerate your career on a global stage.
The Solution Manager will join our Productivity Solutions & Innovation group – a global team of 200+ transformation specialists, RPA and GenAI experts, process engineers, and data scientists – dedicated to driving automation and technology innovation across Allianz. Most of us have a consulting background and love supporting our internal clients (Allianz operating entities) transform their business with technology and scalable automation solutions.
This role offers a broad range of advisory and hands-on services focused on hyper-automation. You’ll engage in conceptual strategy work, develop automation solution roadmaps, and oversee implementation of cutting-edge RPA/GenAI initiatives within a clearly defined scope together with the global delivery team.

What you do:

  • Design and implement innovative hyper-automation solutions integrating Diagnostics, RPA, GenAI, Agentic AI, and analytics to streamline business processes aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Oversee full lifecycle management of complex hyper-automation projects from initial solution design through release and operational stability.
  • Architect scalable agentic automation platforms using AWS Bedrock Agents and Microsoft AutoGen frameworks for multi-agent orchestration and validation.
  • Expand Allianz Services' hyper-automation footprint by helping operating entities adopt automation and transform their operations globally.
  • Run large-scale automation programs from opportunity identification to deployment, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
  • Guarantee all automation solutions meet Allianz's IT compliance, data security, and regulatory requirements while maintaining quality standards.
  • Establish best practices for comprehensive testing automation using automated test bots and integrating repair tools for system resilience.
  • Drive user adoption by developing training programs, upskilling the workforce, and leading change management initiatives to embed an automation culture.
  • Provide strategic advice to stakeholders by understanding business units' processes, pain points, and regulatory environments to identify high-impact automation opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional international teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and stay current with emerging technologies to pilot innovations and share knowledge globally.

What you bring:

  • Hands-on experience driving process automation and intelligent automation projects in consulting or enterprise environments, with proven ability to deliver complex initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Knowledge of process automation solutions including RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere), low-code platforms (Power Automate), AI/ML, OCR, process mining, and workflow orchestration technologies.
  • Ability to conceptualize business processes as automated solutions and evaluate the optimal technology mix for implementation.
  • Expertise in advanced LLM interaction and configuration, including zero-shot prompting, RAG architectures, and designing tool-using AI agents.
  • Strong project management abilities to lead end-to-end projects, manage scope and resources, deliver on time, and coordinate international teams or vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into compelling ideas for both technical teams and senior business stakeholders with a customer-focused, consultative mindset.
  • Good understanding of IT standards, data security, and regulatory compliance related to automation, ensuring solutions adhere to guidelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Higher education degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field with solid technical foundation including coding/scripting ability and cloud platform exposure.
  • Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments with fluency in English required (additional languages are a plus) for global collaboration.
  • Genuine interest in emerging technologies and continuous improvement, staying current on hyper-automation, AI, and cloud trends with eagerness to experiment with Agentic Frameworks.
  • We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.

What we offer:

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad
  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)
