About the Job
The Resilience Center of Excellence (CDC05C), part of Infrastructure & Information Security, is advancing resilience capabilities across Allianz Technology. In this working student role, you will work with cutting-edge Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technology to strengthen Crisis Readiness, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) initiatives across the organization focusing on IT Infrastructure.
Collaborating with experienced experts, you will support scenario design, crisis response planning, AI-enabled analysis, and simulation exercises that enhance preparedness — helping translate innovative concepts into practical, safe, and compliant solutions.
What you do
- Explore, prototype, and document GenAI/LLM use cases that improve resilience outcomes across Crisis Management, BCM, and ITSCM.
- Design, implement, test, and deploy selected use cases on enterprise AI platforms, with guidance from senior experts.
- Support the operationalization of prototypes through lightweight automation, documentation, and demo assets, in collaboration with Infrastructure & Information Security stakeholders.
- Develop, refine, and evaluate prompts and retrieval approaches, drawing on internal guidance, policies, and lessons-learned materials.
- Contribute to activities across the resilience lifecycle, including process improvements, reporting, and the preparation of stakeholder materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the ongoing development of the Resilience CoE's AI capability.
What you bring
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program (e.g., Computer Science, Data/AI, Information Security, Reliability/Resilience, Engineering or a related field).
- Curiosity about and practical exposure to GenAI/LLMs and prompt design; basic scripting skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
- Foundational understanding of resilience disciplines: Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management, and IT Service Continuity Management.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical application.
- Strong analytical, writing, and structuring skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into clear, concise materials for stakeholders.
- Awareness of information security, data protection, and responsible AI considerations in enterprise environments.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset, comfortable working in an international environment and balancing multiple tasks alongside your studies.
- Strong communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
