Working Student - Finance Analyst in Planning & Controlling (m/f/d)

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location Munich.

What you will do as Working Student - Finance Analyst in Planning & Controlling (m/f/d)

Within the Finance Department, reporting to the Head of Costs, Holdings & Platforms Controlling, you will join the team in charge of the costs controlling across Allianz Partners. You will actively participate to cost monitoring, steering and planning, and contribute to various strategic projects. You are key to contribute to ensure transparency on cost and strong planning & controlling processes.

• Manage the Expenses Approval Tool as well as the commenting of the monthly costs reports
• Create models and define processes for planning cycle. Manage and support the costs planning process together with all involved stakeholders such as business units and global functions
• Participate in ad-hoc analysis and studies on the scope of internal costs controlling
• Contribute to Finance function transformation, i.e. continuously improving planning & controlling processes and tools

What you bring as Working Student - Finance Analyst in Planning & Controlling (m/f/d)

• Ongoing education in the area of finance, economics, business administration: business school with strong Accounting/Financial analysis component or Master degree in Finance/Accounting/Controlling
• Fluent in English (verbal and written), any other language is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, team player
• Strong financial and analytical skills and very high focus on accuracy
• Appetence for project management in a complex international environment
• Ability to build and communicate complex data models
• Advanced level skills in Excel, Power Bi and Power Query is a plus
• Knowledge of cost accounting and cost controlling through studies or previous experience is a plus.
