Key responsibilities
• Support process analysis and documentation — Map existing manual workflows across the controlling team, identify inefficiencies, and document improvement opportunities using structured templates (e.g. BPMN, swim lane diagrams, or process wikis).
• Build automation solutions — Assist in developing Power Automate flows, Power Apps, or script-based tools that reduce repetitive manual tasks such as data collection, report distribution, and approval workflows.
• Explore and evaluate AI tools — Research emerging AI and productivity tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, automation APIs), prepare hands-on demos, and summaries findings in short evaluation reports for the team.
• Support the Continuous Improvement framework — Log improvement ideas in the Kaizen board, track implementation progress, assist in measuring and documenting the impact of completed initiatives.
• Assist with data preparation and reporting — Help collect, clean, and structure data from SharePoint, SAP, or Excel sources to support Power BI dashboards and ad-hoc analysis for the controlling team.
Key requirements
• Enrollment in a German University (for working student positions) or (for an internship) in a gap year. Student status throughout the duration of the contract Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Eligible to sign a university–company internship agreement-
• Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel, SQL, and Python, as well as data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Team Player: Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position for 6 months- part time (16-20 h/week)
