Working Student/Intern Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)

About the Job

The Allianz Cyber Defense Center is the global unit for Detection & Response, protecting Allianz's IT worldwide. In this exciting environment, we develop innovative web applications for internal use. As a working student (m/f/d), you will support us in the development and enhancement of these applications.

What you do

• Development of modern internal web applications: You contribute to the conception and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize and modernize our internal processes.
• Integration of external APIs and development of stable interfaces: You ensure seamless communication between various systems while guaranteeing the stability and efficiency of the interfaces.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and supporting simple CI/CD processes, you actively contribute to the high quality and reliability of our software.
• Close collaboration with developers and stakeholders: You work in an international team and maintain continuous communication with colleagues and relevant stakeholders.

What you bring

• You are currently enrolled at a German university or college, studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field (at least in your 4th bachelor's semester or in a master's program).
• You have excellent knowledge of Python3 and have ideally already implemented your own projects during your studies, as a working student, or in your free time.
• You have a good understanding of HTTP and REST APIs
• Concepts like Clean Code and Software Patterns (e.g., Repository Pattern) are familiar to you.
• Knowledge of the following technologies and frameworks is a plus: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, ReactJS.
• You have a basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position for 6 months - part time (16-20 h/week).
