We are seeking a motivated and detail - oriented Data Analyst to join our Life & Health Products Department at the regional headquarters in Vienna. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting product development, portfolio management, and business performance monitoring across the Allianz Central Europe (ACE) region.
You will transform raw data into insights that guide pricing, product design, and strategic decision - making, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Actuaries, Finance, Controlling and local market teams.
What you do:
• Analyse portfolio performance and profitability of Life & Health products across ACE markets.
• Support product development and review processes through data - driven insights and competitor benchmarking.
• Prepare detailed analyses of customer segments, sales performance, and distribution effectiveness.
• Build, maintain, and enhance performance dashboards (Power BI) to monitor KPIs for existing products and new launches.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting, and Data teams to ensure consistent and reliable data flows for analysis.
• Contribute to forecasting, pricing, and risk analysis to support new product initiatives and premium adjustments.
• Prepare regular and ad - hoc analytical reports for management and regional product steering committees.
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards.
What you bring:
Required Qualifications:
• University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst within insurance (Life & Health preferred) or financial services.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret insurance product performance metrics.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI).
• Solid understanding of Life & Health product structures.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data warehouse.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in a regional or multinational insurance organization.
• Knowledge of product profitability analysis, experience studies, or actuarial valuation principles.
• Understanding of sales and marketing data relevant to Life & Health products.
• Professional certification or progress in data analytics or actuarial exams is an asset

Annual gross salary: 75,000 EUR (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
