About the role


We are looking for an experienced leader to take on the role of Director of the Portfolio Management Department. This position is responsible for shaping pricing strategies, overseeing portfolio profitability, and leading a team of specialists, analysts, and managers. You will work closely with the Management Board and cross-functional teams, playing a key role in driving business performance and innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead and develop the department team, including planning, setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering engagement and motivation
•    Define and implement pricing policies for property insurance products
•    Oversee the development of risk cost and technical pricing models
•    Supervise demand modelling and price optimization processes
•    Manage profitability analyses of property products, monitor technical results, and communicate findings across the organization
•    Collaborate with the Sales Division on portfolio growth strategy
•    Partner with the Finance Division on financial planning and forecasting
•    Actively contribute to Allianz business projects as required

 

Requirements:

•    Higher education degree
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, data analysis, or controlling
•    Proven track record in creating and implementing pricing strategies
•    Strong knowledge of pricing methods, tools, customer segmentation, and margin management
•    Ability to design and enforce pricing policies and assess their impact on revenue, margin, and profitability
•    Experience with large datasets and business-focused data interpretation
•    Strong project management skills, particularly in pricing tools and process automation
•    Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams of analysts, specialists, and managers
•    Ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations and actions
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including cooperation with senior leadership, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT
•    Proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on growth and continuous improvement
•    Fluent English (C1 level)
•    Resilience, strong interpersonal skills, and structured approach to work
•    Basic knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
