Role purpose

 

Effective running of the Suisse Sales Region by developing and monitoring a regional sales strategy.

The achievement of volume and profitability targets within the given geographic area (Switzerland) by the maintenance and establishment of commercially successfully relationships with brokers, companies, major distributors and potential and actual clients.

Achieve maximum new business and retention of existing business to ensure sales targets are met and that Allianz Partners Health market profile & market share are improved.

Align sales strategy with Allianz Partners Switzerland and Allianz Suisse and interact with FinMA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • In liaison with the relevant group companies and brokers, the establishment and maintenance of commercially successful relationships in all business lines from appropriate insurance brokers and other relevant insurance distributors within the given geographic area.
  • Achievement of annual company targets for the key focus segments and the annual target overall for the region – grow and maintain the business in all lines and segments
  • The presentation to relevant group companies of the clients and to insurance brokers and the obtaining of commitment to support the venture.
  • The provision of training; sales support and other similar services to group companies and brokers.
  • The provision of point of sales support and assistance to brokers, relevant companies other distributors; the provision of direct client advice in consultation with relevant group companies or distributors and the maintenance of satisfactory on-going relationships with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the provision of service for global or regional client groups
  • Become an active and supporting member of the regional sales team sharing knowledge across segments, functions and countries.
  • The establishment and maintenance of all appropriate partnerships (e.g. Allianz Partners Switzerland, Allianz Suisse, KPT & FinMa) and head office reporting as required.

     

  • Will require travel to markets.

     

  • Regularily updating of the main business planning Tool SalesForce

     

  • Co-operating and exchange on a regular basis with Allianz Partners Colleagues from other business lines in the geographic region (Health Champions)

  • The maintenance of all on-going client relationships including the handling of issues and problems as well as the pro-active establishment of client satisfaction.

 

 

  • Key Requirements
  • At least 5 years` experience in an insurance sales environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing long term relationships with corporate clients and business distributors
  • Proven record of consistent delivery of sales targets
  • Strong established business relationship with relevant brokers in the sales region.
  • Solid working experience or understanding of back office administration functions
  • Customer focussed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, disciplined and proactive
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
  • Results driven and solution orientated
  • Insurance background, especially in local Health Insurance & Employee Benefits
  • Language skills: Suisse German or German (must), English(must) and French (advantage)
