About the Job:
As a Local Information Security Officer (ISO) at Allianz Technology, you will play a crucial role in supervising and supporting the implementation of Information Security governance and related guidelines. You will ensure compliance with Allianz SE Group and Technology Information Security Frameworks, providing control assurance for services offered to internal customers.
What you do:
As Local Information Security Officer, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding Allianz Technology GmbH's IT environment.
- Lead Vulnerability and Lifecycle Management by proactively monitoring and enhancing IT security systems, reporting relevant KPIs to senior management as 1st Line of Defense.
- Collaborate closely with customers to improve all customer-relevant IS KPIs.
- Leverage expertise to manage internal and external audits, including ISO27001:2022, and collaborate with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (DORA, NIS2) and drive initiatives with Allianz Technology SE to strengthen IT security internationally.
- Consult Service Owners/Business Owners and TPRM-/P&R Officer on information security, Third Party Risk Management, and Protection & Resilience topics.
- Play a crucial role in crisis management, leading response to major IT incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and developing strategies for swift resolution and recovery.
- Identify and analyze IS risks, initiate and manage mitigation measures, and support the 2nd Line of Defense in risk management activities.
What you bring:
- Preferred bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security systems, including vulnerability and lifecycle management, with proficiency in conducting and coordinating penetration tests and security audits.
- Experience in developing and executing incident response plans, with the ability to lead major IT incidents and coordinate with cross-functional teams for effective resolution and recovery.
- Strong analytical skills to assess audit findings and security threats, capable of developing strategic solutions to mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English to train and advise colleagues, fostering security awareness and collaborating effectively with international stakeholders, including auditors and key users.
- Experience in driving security initiatives and projects, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership skills to guide teams and influence security practices across the organization, with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or similar being highly desirable and knowledge of DORA, NIS2 and GDPR,
