We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior IT Governance Specialist (m/f/d) to support the development and operation of IT governance in alignment with IT strategy and regulatory requirements. The role contributes to strengthening governance, risk management, compliance, and overall IT efficiency while maintaining the company’s risk appetite.

This position is suitable for junior candidates; previous experience is welcome but not mandatory.

Location: Zagreb/hybrid

Key responsibilities:

• Support the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT governance, risk, and compliance initiatives
• Establish and maintain a quality assurance framework to ensure IT practices, solutions, and services comply with internal policies and international standards
• Perform logical access reviews and recommend access rights adjustments to ensure appropriate segregation of duties
• Support compliance with regulatory and certification requirements (e.g. data privacy, audits, industry standards) and ensure adequate internal controls
• Define and maintain the IT performance management framework, including KPIs for IT processes, roles, and functions
• Contribute to IT risk identification, analysis, and monitoring in line with the enterprise risk management

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Interest in AI tools and modern digital work environments

Preferred qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance concepts
• Familiarity with governance frameworks (e.g. COBIT)
• Understanding of security domains (network, enterprise, cloud, database)
• Exposure to security standards, regulations, or compliance programs
