Head of IF&IS RDC Operations

About the Job
In the Regional Delivery Centre (RDC), the Head of IF&S, RDC operations will report to the Head of IF&IS, Asia, and lead the CMO scope for the IF&IS pillars - CDC, WPS, SEC and AGN for the gearshifted countries in Asia.
The responsibility covers the operations and engineering of the CMO environments and working with FMO and global teams to oversee the delivery and reporting of services to the OEs operated by the RDC in Malaysia.
What you do
- Ensure the SLAs are met for IT services and BAU projects delivery to the RDC OEs.
- Act as strategic decision maker and lead the resolution of critical infrastructure and security incidents and issues on behalf of the RDC OEs to secure the seamless business continuity.
- Support the Local Heads of Infrastructure for each OE to provide resolution to incidents and problems while delivering BAU changes.
- Initiate the strategic roadmap for services in line with Group and local business strategy.
- Functionally manage the OEs contracted managed services partners as it pertains to the scope of delivery of Infrastructure and Information Security services by the RDC.
- Support the LHoIFS with the Infrastructure transformation within the OEs, with focus around Cloud and workplace services.
- Provide input and alignment in the yearly Planning Dialogue to ensure all forecasted activities and budget are captured for the following year.
- Provide IT leadership within the RDC Infrastructure and Information Security functions and guidance to the retained IT organisations within the OE.
- Drive and encourage continuous service improvement and provide governance to IT operations provided the OE to ensure the compliance with the regulator and the internal audit.
- Represent the local escalation point for the major changes, problems and incidents to resolution within AzTech.
What you bring
- Proven senior leadership experience running Infrastructure & Information Security operations (CDC, WPS, SEC, AGN) at scale, ideally within a regional delivery centre or shared services model spanning multiple OEs.
- Strong track record managing CMO/FMO service delivery through managed services partners, with demonstrated ability to own SLA performance, critical incident resolution, and business continuity for outsourced or hybrid operating models.
- Experience driving infrastructure transformation (Cloud, workplace services) and shaping multi-year service roadmaps aligned to Group and local strategy, including ownership of budget/Planning Dialogue cycles.
- Basic knowledge of AI technology, principles, and their practical use.
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure/security leadership, including several years in a regional or multi-country delivery role; prior exposure to insurance or another regulated financial services environment is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, CISSP/CISM) are a plus.
