This role exists to turn AI from a buzzword into practical tools that make work easier and smarter at Allianz Partners. As an AI Enablement Apprentice in the Global Sales Excellence & Steering team, you’ll help real stakeholders in Markets, Finance, Operations, and Business Units solve concrete problems: faster reporting, better insights, smarter workflows.
This is a role for someone who already plays with LLMs (especially Claude), builds prompts for fun, and is comfortable getting hands-on with data and automation tools. If you’re a student who likes to prototype, iterate, and see your work used by non-technical colleagues, this will fit you well.
What you do
- Spot opportunities to use AI (Claude, ChatGPT, agentic tools) to improve sales processes, reporting, and internal workflows
- Help design and prototype AI-driven use cases such as sales insight generators, reporting automation, and internal knowledge assistants
- Assist in building lightweight AI agents or workflows using APIs and tools like Power Automate, Zapier, or similar
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries for specific business scenarios, and refine prompts to improve accuracy, consistency, and relevance
- Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports, combining AI-generated outputs with structured data to create clear, insight-led stories
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into AI/analytics solutions, and present your prototypes and findings in a clear way
- Contribute to documentation, guidance, and best practices to help teams adopt AI tools more confidently
- Keep track of new AI, agentic workflow, and analytics capabilities and share practical ideas for how they could be applied at enterprise scale
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, and available for an internship/apprenticeship
- Hands-on experience using LLMs (required): you’ve actively used tools like Claude (strongly preferred) and ChatGPT, understand their strengths/limits, and can design prompts to get useful, reliable outputs
- Experience with Power BI (required): you can build and adapt dashboards, create meaningful visualisations, and work with basic data models (any DAX knowledge is a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and ease with data: you are comfortable in Excel, can clean and explore data, and ideally have some exposure to SQL
- Basic programming ability (e.g. Python, JavaScript or similar), including calling APIs or stitching tools together; familiarity with automation platforms (Power Automate, Zapier, Make, etc.) is a plus
- Interest in agentic AI workflows or AI orchestration frameworks, and a motivation to experiment and learn in a fast-evolving space
- Fluent English, written and spoken; other languages (such as French or German, depending on location) are a plus
- Able to explain technical ideas in simple language, listen to business needs, and work proactively without waiting for step-by-step instructions
