Pricing Analyst – RAA – Adelaide (12 months Contract)

About the role

• Monitor portfolio performance and support delivery of growth, premium, and profitability targets through data-driven insights and strategically aligned pricing recommendations
• Analyse risk drivers, identify trends, and integrate actuarial pricing models into decision-making, providing evidence-based recommendations to the Pricing Committee
• Deliver regular reporting (weekly/monthly), maintain budget models, support forecasting and annual budgeting, and evaluate the impact of pricing changes
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, acting as an SME for pricing, providing clear communication, insights, and professional service to internal clients
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies, while supporting continuous improvement, training, and adherence to health, safety, and operational standards

About you 

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the business to support collaboration and stakeholder engagement
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, non-technical insights and reports
• Proficiency in SQL or R, along with advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI to analyse and report on business, operational, or insurance data
• Knowledge of general insurance frameworks, including the Code of Practice, privacy principles, dispute resolution processes, and relevant legislation is advantageous, though candidates from other relevant industries will also be considered
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
