The Impact You Will Have
The Broker Services Lead is a key role within the Distribution Strategy & Field Operations (S&FO) team, responsible for managing and enhancing the centralized Broker Services function. This position collaborates across multiple departments, including Distribution, Underwriting, Finance Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Data/Technology, to ensure effective execution of broker services. The role focuses on establishing a high-performing, disciplined, and outcome-driven function that supports cross-disciplinary performance, such as submissions, quoting, binding, and broker management. The Broker Services Lead plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and enabling scalable capabilities within the organization
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Lead all broker services activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of requests aligned with business priorities. Establish stability, visibility, and accountability across workflows
- Manages the evaluation and stabilization of existing workflows, addressing operational challenges and inefficiencies
- Establishes structured processes for request intake, prioritization, and tracking to ensure consistent operations. Maintains baseline performance metrics, such as cycle time, accuracy, and volume, to monitor and report on operational effectiveness
- Develop and implement standardized workflows, clearly defined ownership roles, and service levels to streamline operations. Redesign processes to reduce manual effort, duplication, and errors. Utilize tools, automation, and technology to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with broader business objectives
- Define and monitor KPIs, such as SLA adherence, accuracy, and volume and workflow
- Establish transparent reporting for leadership, improve broker data quality, and ensure data serves as a core enabler of execution
- Facilitate effective collaboration and alignment across Distribution, Underwriting, Finance Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Data/Technology teams
- Act as the central point of contact for broker services, ensuring clear communication of priorities, workflows, and service levels
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and continuously improve service delivery
- Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- 3-5 years experience in operations, process transformation, or business operations
- 3-5 years experience taking over and improving a fragmented or manual function
- 5-7 years experience in proven track-record delivering process redesign and measurable operational improvements
- 3-5 years experience working across multiple functions
- Workflow Tools & CRM
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Data/Analytics
- Desired but not required: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Certification, Microsoft Power BI Certification or Tableau Certification; and Kaizen Certification
- Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is preferred

The annualized base pay range for this role is $87,545 - $132,226. The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
