Job Purpose: The Business Analyst partners with business and technology teams to translate business needs into effective solutions. In addition, responsible for defect (bug) management. The role is responsible for gathering requirements, supporting solution delivery, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while supporting overall governance and quality standards.

 

Key responsibilities

•Partner with business stakeholders to define, document, and validate business requirements

•Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and solution designs

•Own end-to-end defect (bug) management lifecycle, including identification, triage, prioritization, documentation, and resolution tracking

•Evaluate solution options and recommend optimal approaches aligned with business goals

•Manage lifecycle of business needs, defects, and enhancements from intake through resolution

•Ensure requirements are refined, traceable, and aligned to governance standards

•Coordinate across business, IT, and vendor teams to support delivery execution

•Conduct root cause and impact analysis for system issues and process gaps

•Assess downstream impacts to ensure stability and scalability of solutions

•Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making

•Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency

•Support implementation of new solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives

•Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams

•Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear status updates, risks, and priorities

•Strengthen the MicroStrategy Superuser Community by increasing personal knowledge base of the MicroStrategy report tool and the various data models and collaborating with superusers to share that knowledge

•Build a network across the region and group and build strong relationships with employees across The Org & Change and ITMP Excellence teams and share best practices

 

Key requirements & skills

•3-5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, or a related role

•Experience in business application/platforms supporting core business operations (e.g., Compass, Avalis, MicroStrategy, ITMP Knowledge)

•Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP or similar ERP platforms

•Proficiency with requirements and delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)

•Prior exposure to requirements gathering, testing, and stakeholder management

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

•High attention to detail and governance discipline

 

  • Looking for candidates that possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.

Total compensation range:

$105,000 - $120,000

 

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
