Responsible for developing and implementing inside and outside sales strategies, managing all aspects of the team, and ensuring that sales and productivity targets in line with company growth targets are met or exceeded. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external departments and partners. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties 

 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives/Agents (ISR/ISA’s) to ensure high performance. Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to sales representatives to improve performance and close rates. 

  • Develop and monitor, and continually improve the performance of strategic inbound and outbound calling programs in line with Regional Head of Sales Operations to increase direct sales revenue. 

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.  

  • Analyze market trends, prospect needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.  

  • Set sales targets and goals for the team, and monitor performance against these targets. 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Development (BD) team, including pipeline management and sales forecasting.  

  • Collaborate with the BD Campaign Strategist and marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.  

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts for senior management. 

  • Work with ISAs to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base. 

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its products if needed.  

  • Work closely with other departments when needed to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery to new clients. 

  • Assist in building a bench for the DSF by guiding ISAs to outside sales success and proficiency. 

  • Identify, implement, and manage process improvements and/or technology to support and increase team productivity.  

  • Ensure sales, compliance and legal policies, and procedures are met in line with scope of BD Team 

  • Assist the Direct Sales Force (DSF) training new Agents in effective prospecting cadence techniques, including social media, email, and phone skills. 

Work with Head of Sales Ops and DSF to create and support bank and broker BD development strategies. 

 

 

Required Qualifications and Skills 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, or similar discipline strongly preferred. 

  • Proven track record in managing, training, and developing a team of dynamic sales personnel strongly preferred. 

  • 4-6 years of direct, end to end B2B selling experience to a C-Suite audience. 

  • In-depth understanding and experience in the process of selling a complex, solution-based service. 

  • Experience creating KPIs and forecasts to meet annual targets. 

  • Hands on experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com a plus) and other sales technologies 

  • Proven experience creating, running, and improving highly effective, multi-step cadence processes for both inbound and outbound prospecting. 

  • Strong understanding and experience in building referral partner/COI networks and sales channels (i.e., bankers/brokers)  

  • Looking for candidates that possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.

Total compensation range: 

$130,000 - $170,000 

  

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
