Job Purpose: In this senior position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of our existing portfolio of accounts. You will manage and nurture both customer and broker relationships, fostering long-term partnerships that drive business growth and enhance our market presence. By sharing your knowledge and experience, you will contribute to a high-performing team that delivers on ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

Renewal Portfolio Management: Oversee and optimize your renewal portfolio, ensuring timely and effective renewal processing to enhance customer satisfaction and retention while maintaining Regional & Group technical underwriting standards. Utilize your expertise to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, driving the portfolio's growth and profitability.

 

Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key brokers and customers. Proactively engage with partners to understand their evolving needs and expectations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and driving business growth through collaborative efforts.

 

Identify Cross- and Up-Selling Opportunities: Analyze the existing portfolio to uncover cross- and up-selling opportunities, enhancing the value proposition for clients and expanding the scope of services offered.

 

Mentorship and Collaboration: Serve as a mentor and leader within the broker management underwriting team, providing commercial underwriting assistance and guidance to colleagues. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and take ownership of special projects and broker servicing as needed.

Key requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in related field
•5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience
•Ability to profitably retain customers and build long-term relationships   
•Expert knowledge of Allianz systems a plus
•Strong background in risk assessment and technical underwriting, ensuring adherence to industry standards and guidelines.
•Knowledge of the trade credit insurance industry, Allianz Trade products and market landscape.
•Experience analyzing complex data to make informed decisions that balance risk and reward.
•Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, fostering collaboration and trust.

 

  • Looking for candidates that possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.

 

Total compensation range:

$110,000 - $130,000

 

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
