Job Summary:
Take ownership for implementation of Protection & Resilience for Thailand business by coordinate with regional P&R team. Lead for guidance and coordination with related departments, business units and functions for Business Continuity Management. Participate regularly in the local Governance and Control Committee. Effective implementation of Protection and Resilience to minimize business interruption through identification, mitigation, response and recovery from risk events and emergency incidents.
Responsibilities
1) Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Act as BCM officer to handle BCM plan and represent crisis management team during the crisis
- Manage and lead team in performing analysis on business impacts from different business continuity cases
- Review and ensure the quality of the reports and documents regarding to business continuity management with quality, completeness and timeliness
- BIA (Business Impact analysis) / RIA (risk identification analysis)
- Recovery plan
- BCM strategy and plan
- Plan for crisis management and support for implementation
- Regularly monitor situation for potential crisis to staff and business
2) Protection and Resilience
• Adapt the Standard of guideline on Country level via a binding document and ensure that its requirements are fulfilled
• Provide a platform for collaboration and standardization efforts
• Developments around the Protection & Resilience framework including new requirements and controls with expert functions
• Monitor and review schedules with company expert functions, regional and global Protection & Resilience
• Coordinate action plans and ensure that Protection & Resilience monitoring and reporting system is adequately implemented.
• Prepare BCM reports and dashboards for the local regulatory and board management to report state of health in their organization
• Prepare results of self-assessments/reviews and communicate reports and movement to Executive Management and Regional team
• Participates in the Governance & Control Committee or P&R Steering or Crisis Management Committee
• Monitor situation that may impact to business disruption, validate, and escalate to P&R Steering
• Provide support upon request e.g. crisis communication, business continuity site setup such as train and create awareness on this topic to staff and related people
• Take the ownership for deficiencies from the self-assessment / reviews and enforce implementation of action plans on OE level and co-ordinate with stakeholders
• Handle and manage risk assessment and audit action points and resolve any issues
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, Management Information System, IE or related field
• At least 5 years direct experience in Protection & Resilience and Business Continuity Management from insurance, financial or banking industry
• Lead and understanding of security-related threats and risks, as well as practices and capabilities to address them
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current business continuity and crisis management planning techniques and Information Technologies
• Strong project management and organizational skills. Self-directed and able to set priorities, organize time, resolve issues, follow up on tasks, and identify resources for projects
• Experience of working in multicultural environment, collaborative and relationship working style, good team player with members of other departments

- Review and ensure the quality, completeness, and timeliness of reports and documentation related to Business Continuity Management, including:

- Plan crisis management activities and support implementation efforts
- Regularly monitor situations that may pose potential crises to staff and business operations
2) Protection and Resilience

- Provide a platform for collaboration and standardization initiatives
- Drive developments within the Protection & Resilience framework, including new requirements and controls, in collaboration with expert functions
- Monitor and review schedules with company expert functions, as well as regional and global Protection & Resilience teams
- Coordinate action plans and ensure that the Protection & Resilience monitoring and reporting system is properly implemented
- Prepare BCM reports and dashboards for local regulators and Board Management to report the organization’s state of health
- Prepare results of self-assessments and reviews, and communicate reports and progress updates to Executive Management and Regional teams
- Participate in the Governance & Control Committee, P&R Steering Committee, or Crisis Management Committee
- Monitor situations that may lead to business disruption, validate issues, and escalate to the P&R Steering Committee
- Provide support upon request, including crisis communication and business continuity site setup, as well as training and awareness programs for staff and relevant stakeholders
- Take ownership of deficiencies identified through self-assessments or reviews, enforce implementation of action plans at the OE level, and coordinate with stakeholders
- Manage risk assessments and audit action points, and resolve identified issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of direct experience in Protection & Resilience and Business Continuity Management within the insurance, financial, or banking industry
- Strong leadership skills and understanding of security-related threats and risks, including practices and capabilities to address them
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current business continuity and crisis management planning techniques and information technologies
- Strong project management and organizational skills; self-directed with the ability to set priorities, manage time, resolve issues, follow up on tasks, and identify project resources
- Experience working in a multicultural environment with a collaborative and relationship-driven working style; a strong team player across departments
