Assoc. Director - Country Group EB - Broker

Provides consultation to team members in managing new and renewal business via the Broker Channel. Tracks and monitors sales performance for both new and renewal business, and defines initiatives to reduce claim activities and loss ratio. In addition, this role includes managing customer satisfaction and complaints.
1) New Business Sales Management

Drive new business growth through strategic broker engagement for both AZAY and AAGI

Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers

Analyze sales performance and identify growth opportunities
-
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver competitive solutions

Lead and support team members in achieving sales targets
2) Renewal Business – Maintain Persistency

Drive renewal performance and ensure high retention rates across broker accounts

Build and maintain ongoing relationships with brokers to strengthen client loyalty

Lead renewal negotiations with underwriters to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and the company

Share outstanding issues/problems with relevant stakeholders

Resolve issues efficiently and ensure seamless renewal processes
3) Customer Satisfaction and Complaint Management

Oversee customer and broker satisfaction

Act as the escalation point for complex customer or broker issues and ensure timely resolution

Define actions required to improve partner/customer satisfaction and reduce complaints

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality

Ensure effective communication and regular updates to partners regarding products, services, and processes
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Group Employee Benefits within Life Assurance or Broker businesses

Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
