Chief Commercial Officer

Job Summary:

This position defines the strategic direction, policy, and procedures for relationship management and operational supports for Corporate Business team. This also includes relationship management with business partners at all levels to ensure collaboration and sales volume according to the company direction. In addition, the position also required leading the overall direction of corporate business and assuming responsibility for achieving corporate portfolio KPIs for GWP, CoR, Underwriting result.

Key Accountabilities:

• Drive and contribute to growth of corporate business; develop and take the lead to implement strategic plans to grow corporate book and enhance technical margin
• Lead underwriting activities for corporate business consisting of property, MAT, agribusiness, marine etc
• Collaborate with global team to leverage on captive capabilities to drive business within Thai market
• Ensure execution of Global Standards of Underwriting in the company
• Develop and operate reinsurance strategy jointly with key stakeholders within Global reinsurance framework
• Ensure effective collaboration to deliver business objectives with key internal business partners, including actuarial, finance, operations, marketing, compliance, etc.
• Manage Project Sales/Operations Support team to deliver the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) to all corporate business partners
• Defines strategic direction, policy and procedures to sustain the success in managing relationship with all corporate partner(s)
• Lead and direct team members to deliver results with relationship management in mind
• Promote the engagement from business partner's management level to ensure smooth collaboration and business agreement that drive the business via strategic meetings and activities
• Coach and Manage team on their works with objective to ensure effective support to increase business partner's satisfaction

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Insurance, Risk management, or other related fields
• Minimum 10 years of experiences in Corporate Business with a proven track record for growth and sound technical performance
• Well and strong in underwriting corporate business (Property and Casualty)
• Strong leadership and technical knowledge in general insurance
• People and stakeholders’ management
• Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage.
