Manager - AZAY Business Solution (My Allianz)

Job Purpose
Responsible for developing requirements for the implementation or enhancement of software, in coordination with the IT department and business users, to meet business requirements. This role plans, manages, and leads projects with low to medium complexity and defined scope.

The role includes gathering business requirements, managing projects, overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT), and providing consultancy services with quality, timeliness, and within budget. Additional responsibilities include expanding leadership and project management capabilities.

1) Project Management

• Lead projects/change requests with low to medium complexity and defined scope.
• Plan and define project management activities and budgets.
• Estimate project timelines, resources, and assign owners for each activity.
• Provide support to project teams as appropriate.
• Track project status and progress; monitor and control to ensure all activities are delivered with quality, within budget, and on schedule.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure project readiness and prepare for production go-live/implementation.
• Provide post-production support to business users.
• Deliver accurate and timely status reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the project/change request database in the agreed shared drive.

2) Requirement Management

• Understand and assess current business processes, procedures, methods, and system functionalities to recommend solutions and alternatives.
• Collaborate with business units to identify enhancement opportunities (e.g., IT enhancements, process improvement).
• Facilitate and prepare cost-benefit analysis (business case).
• Gather and document user requirements (process flows, functions, screens, and system outputs).
• Prepare and maintain requirement documents and related communications.
• Prepare RFPs and participate in vendor selection.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
• Work closely with developers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with relevant parties for system design and development.
• Monitor progress to ensure requirements are delivered within the project timeline.

3) User Acceptance Test (UAT)

• Define and plan UAT criteria and activities.
• Support business users in developing UAT scenarios and test cases.
• Act as a liaison between users and developers/designers.
• Collaborate with users to execute UAT activities.
• Record test results, identify improvement areas, and ensure system readiness for implementation.
• Track UAT progress and ensure completion within the project timeline.
• Prepare user manuals and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for relevant stakeholders.

4) Consultancy Services

• Provide advisory support to users in identifying enhancement opportunities.
• Deliver consultancy and training services to drive continuous improvement.

5) Complexity of Work and Dependency

• Responsible for small-size or simple projects.
• Work primarily with internal stakeholders.
• Lead projects with guidance and support from a supervisor.

Qualifications:

- At least  5 years experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Development and Improvement, or other related fields.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics or related field.

- Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
