Responsible for overseeing the Product Governance procedures of Property & Casualty and ensure all relevant documents are up to date and adhered to. Supporting the product and pricing team at P&C on interaction with OIC, compliance and audit and ensure relevant tasks are completed in time and with good quality. Support the team on task management and interaction with IT and Organization Management. Execute regular Underwriting File reviews to ensure high quality underwriting standards.
Your Day at Allianz Ayudhya
Compliance and Optimization:
- Ensure adherence to OIC minimum requirements and Allianz Group standards.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure timely response to announcements and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the technical team to close identified gaps within specified timeframes.
- Leverage resources to optimize processes and outcomes.
Underwriting Governance:
- Lead Underwriting File Reviews (UFRs), managing the end-to-end quality control of underwriting processes through formal reviews, providing written analysis and trend reports to senior management.
- Coordinate and monitor assessments, reporting, and improvement outcomes resulting from UFRs.
- Facilitate the setup and operation of regular Underwriting Committees.
- Support the development and maintenance of Underwriting Guidelines (UWG) and Underwriting Authority (UWA) grids and letters.
- Communicate and implement local or group-led changes to underwriting governance, ensuring correct local adoption and application.
- Serve as the escalation point for deviations from governance requirements, directing issues to the Underwriting Committee or CTO as appropriate.
Product Team and CTO Support:
- Manage routine tasks, update overall status, and ensure timely completion of pending tasks.
- Proactively identify and raise issues to the CTO, highlighting gaps ahead of time.
- Assist in preparing management documents and minutes for meetings (OIC, Group, PGC, PCIG, BOD, RICO, CFO Letter, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a standardized process for Product Governance, establishing a structured and documented framework.
- Revise standard documents in accordance with OIC, Allianz Group, audit, and related requirements.
- Organize and centralize the document structure within the team for official documentation.
Team and Project Management:
- Oversee and streamline team tasks to optimize efficiency and support effective project management.
- Maintain and update tracking systems to ensure transparency and visibility of team activities and progress.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing team operations and cross-functional processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and support both internal and external projects to minimize issues and ensure timely delivery.
Must Have
- Bachelor or Master’ degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Insurance and any related field
- At least 5 years of general insurance experiences with knowledge in P&C product governance and underwriting.
- Experience with Underwriting Rules and Guidelines
- Experience in Policy Wording & Coverage Analysis
- Experience with Product governance and insurance regulations
Nice to Have
- Solid understanding of the Thailand insurance market.
- Familiar with pricing & rating with Reinsurance understanding
- Well coordination and relationship management with insurance regulations
- Strongly in multi-tasking, individual contribution and negotiation skill
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the project management, customer, market and products.
- Very good Business English communication
- Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage.
