Role Overview

This role is responsible for leading underwriting support and policy processing operations for the P&C Commercial business. The position ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant end-to-end processing from quotation through policy issuance, while supporting underwriting teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end policy processing lifecycle, including quotation, binding, policy issuance, and endorsements
  • Support underwriting teams with non-motor quotations within delegated authority
  • Ensure all processes are completed in accordance with agreed service level agreements and quality standards
  • Perform account setup, compliance checks, and system updates
  • Handle package products including Property, Motor, Personal Accident, and Travel Accident
  • Manage binding processes, including premium calculation, booking, and payment warranty
  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance and distribution of policy documents
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including underwriting, reinsurance, legal, and finance teams
  • Monitor and follow up on pending cases to ensure timely closure
  • Review work quality and provide guidance to team members
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or any field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or policy administration
  • Strong understanding of non-motor insurance products is preferred
  • Good knowledge of policy issuance, premium calculation, and binding processes

  • Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
  • Effective stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage.
