Sr. Specialist - Procurement (IT)

Job Purpose:

Be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of IT and the assigned categories. This role will involve developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for IT-related products and services, including hardware, software, and IT services plus other categories as assigned.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
• Lead negotiation efforts for contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the procurement landscape.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure continuity of supply.
• Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Proven experience 7+ years in corporate procurement, purchasing
• Strong knowledge of trends, technologies, and suppliers
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sourcing plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in procurement and data software and tools
• Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus
• Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage.
