Business Manager

Join us now as Business Manager in Hong Kong/ Singapore with the Asia Pacific Business Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the region’s strategy and our various strategic initiatives, driving distribution management efforts for the region, and collaborating with the firm’s broader global and regional leadership.

What you do

• Develop the regional strategy for Asia Pacific including defining key priorities and the corresponding roadmaps, collaborating with local market teams on their respective business growth plans, and forming the regional view for projects, initiatives, investments
• Execute and drive global and regional strategic initiatives by working closely with global and regional distribution and cross-functional teams
• Drive sales growth strategy, activity monitoring and insights, lead regional distribution steering and budgeting efforts, and form views on client, client segment, product and business opportunities in Asia Pacific
• Act as a versatile partner to global and regional stakeholders on a wide range of activities from leading and executing high-priority mandates to deep-dive projects for the distribution function and the broader firm
• Participate in developing business cases for new growth activities and in M&A related opportunities and implementations
• Generate ideas and form tangible business initiatives to drive scalability, growth and efficiency
• Work with regional and global senior leadership on distribution and regional plans and updates

What you bring

• At least 8-12+ years of working experience in asset management or an adjacent field in financial services
• Demonstrated understanding of the asset management industry, markets, distribution channels and business, including for the Asia Pacific region and the various markets within
• Strategic thinker with commercial acumen, strong project leadership, extended curiosity and problem-solving mindset
• Results-oriented team player who consistently drives stakeholder alignment, collaboration and connectivity
• Proven track record of communicating and influencing effectively and efficiently across a global organization and the various Asia Pacific markets
• Fluent in written and spoken English, additional local languages highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication, Microsoft Office skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related fields
• AI skills: Business intelligence/ Data Analytics
