We are looking for a Strategy and Process Specialist based in Chicago 

 

Your Team  

The AGCS North America Legal Team handles a broad range of subject matters in the United States and Canada. The insurance industry is heavily regulated in the United States, and each state has its own laws and regulations governing the business of insurance. The AGCS NA Legal Team provides support for the AGCS community navigating across all these different jurisdictions. In addition to helping with questions specific to North America, we work with our global colleagues to assist with AGCS’ multi-national focus and global first priority. 

 

The Impact You Will Have 

Reporting into the Data Digital and Privacy AVP, the Strategy and Process Specialist will have the following main areas of responsibility: 

  • Oversight and execution of all internal governance activities such as Business Application Ownership responsibilities, oversight management and timely payments via ARIBA, BIA responsibilities, and any other internal requirements that relate to solution providers; 

  • General oversight and management of Third Party Solution Providers; 

  • Support the coordination and execution of all internal audits and reviews (e.g., from Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk, and any other areas that conduct internal actions); 

  • Support the organization and maintenance of NA Lega's SharePoint Site, and 

  • Maintenance of NA Legal's Connect Page.   
     

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

  • Completing all Business Application Owner Activities, including: ADOIT, BAO Designation, Business Architecture Assessments, TPRM, PIA, IAM Assessments, ACITA, UAR, APUAR, IIRM and Fit Gap Analysis. 

  • Timely engagement with Procurement, timely usage of ARIBA, BIA Assessments, and any other internally driven internal governance responsibilities, including adherence to Allianz policy for third party solution providers and process (ADONIS). 

  • Third party solution provider contract and oversight management, working closely with the administrator of the tool for contract renewals, business administration updates, and tool maintenance and updates to ensure awareness and alignment. 

  • Supporting the coordination and timely execution of all internal audits and reviews. 

  • Supporting the AVP of Digital Data and Privacy in the organization and maintenance of the NA Legal SharePoint site to ensure accurate retrieval of information, applicable deletion of documents and overall set up and use of site. 

  • Maintaining NA Legal's Connect Page to ensure site is up to date and user friendly.   

 

 What You’ll Bring to the Role 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with third party solution providers (e.g., Wolters Kluwer, Thomson Reuters, Diligent, etc.), including contract oversight and management; 

  • Business Application Ownership execution and experience; 

  • Basic audit knowledge; 

  • Advanced experience with SharePoint; 

  • Excellent organizational skills, including strong attention to detail; 

  • Ability to build and foster relationships internally and externally; 

  • Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally; and 

  • A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
