Client Reporting - Analyst

Join us now as Client Reporting – Analyst in Hong Kong within the Client Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for the report production across various client channels for the Asia Pacific region, ensuring timely and accurate reports whilst working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services. In addition to BAU tasks, the jobholder will participate in Regional and Global Projects.
What you do
- Responsible for producing and reviewing of scheduled and ad-hoc client reports in a timely and accurate manner (institutional client reports, client presentations, fund factsheets, bespoke and standard reports).
- Onboarding of reporting requirements for new clients, respond to ad hoc requests and queries on an accurate and timely basis.
- Co-ordinate the information requests for clients. Work with investment, operations, legal, compliance and risk on execution of client activity, communicating with clients, client account managers and vendors as appropriate.
- Provide client servicing and reporting support to client accounts.
- Active participation in various global projects for the region.
- Write and maintain process and procedure documentation on services provided.
- Manage change requests and escalations ensuring the on-going quality and accuracy of reporting.
- Reviewing and improving existing processes, creating additional scale and automation.
What you bring
- University degree in Business, Finance, or related investment-focused field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in asset management or service providers in financial services.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies (GIPS standards), risk analytics and attribution is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative problem-solving skills.
- Effective presentation abilities.
- Analytical thinker with strong data analysis and problem-solving proficiency.
- Comprehensive knowledge of asset management, including front-to-back office processes.
- Familiarity with portfolio analysis, performance calculation (GIPS), and risk analytics; attribution experience is a plus.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and adaptable.
- Collaborative team member.
- Solid fund accounting knowledge.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in VBA and SQL; Python preferred.
- Experience with Simcorp One (Coric), Bloomberg, Power BI, and/or Power Automate advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Skills in AI, including SQL, Python, Data Visualization, and Robotic Process Automation.
