As part of our premium partnership with Commerzbank, we are looking for a Business Developer to support and further develop the partnership.
As a strategic asset management partner of Commerzbank, Allianz Global Investors and Commerzbank share a long-standing collaboration. With our Vermögens Management product line boasting over €25 billion in assets under management, selected single-fund strategies, and our new digital investment solution, money mate, we offer a broad and future-oriented range of solutions for Commerzbank customers.
Together with you, we aim to further expand our business in the coming years and are therefore looking to appoint you as a Key Account Manager at the earliest possible opportunity.
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Commerzbank Business Development & Digital Distribution.
What you will do
- Comprehensive support for the headquarters of Commerzbank AG as the responsible sales unit, including support for product management in the retail and wealth management segments, as well as for the headquarters of the Corporate Banking division and Asset Management of Commerzbank AG.
- Contribution to the development and implementation of holistic product initiatives and campaigns, including product solutions, storytelling, marketing concepts, and sales support.
- Participation in the design and coordination of new product concepts with the client side and internal units, particularly fund management and product teams.
- Coordination of the creation of marketing and sales materials and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive support for, and active contribution to, the further development of the Vermögens Management product range.
- Development of digital marketing concepts.
- Contribution to the planning and organization of events, roadshows, conference calls, and workshops in collaboration with the regional sales team.
- Serving as a subject matter expert for all product- and sales-related inquiries.
What you bring
- Commercial training or a degree in Business Administration/Economics with a focus on Finance & Investment is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sales of asset management products, ideally to Commerzbank.
- Strong sales DNA.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of bank distribution and experience in managing the existing product portfolio is desirable.
- Strong conscientiousness, reliability, and a high level of organizational talent.
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities.
- Friendly, confident, and committed demeanor, along with strong teamwork skills, loyalty, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently—even under tight deadlines.
- Very good IT skills and proficiency in using the MS Office suite.
- Experience with AI and Machine Learning
