Intern (f/m/d) - Product Development EU

We are currently looking for an Intern to join the Product Development EU Team! The position will be based in our Frankfurt office and has a planned duration of 6 months.

About the Job

The Product Development EU Team is responsible for the development of public market investment vehicles in Europe, including the global fund range based in Luxembourg, from idea generation through to launch.

The team works closely with various areas of the business to drive growth in strategic product areas by leveraging its knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, clients, and the regulatory environment. As part of the Products function, the team acts as an interface between multiple stakeholders, in particular Distribution, Investments, and Operations.

In this role, you will work with colleagues located in Frankfurt and London and collaborate closely with partner teams in Paris. You will gain valuable insight into the product development lifecycle and contribute to the launch of new investment solutions.

What you do

• Participate in the product development process of new investment funds, from idea generation through to market launch
• Maintain and coordinate the product launch pipeline document
• Independently maintain the global product database
• Prepare internal presentations for product-related meetings
• Prepare reports and conduct market analyses
• Maintain and update product-related templates
• Contribute to innovation and ideation initiatives
• Support product developers in project management activities throughout the product development and launch process.

What you bring

• Advanced bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally with a quantitative background in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field
• Interest in asset management; first working experience in the investment industry is preferred
• Basic understanding of capital markets
• Quick comprehension and strong attention to detail
• Confident appearance and strong commitment
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in an international, diverse, and highly interdisciplinary environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are preferred
• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
