Job Purpose/Role
We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to deliver projects affecting the Investments and Operations value chain front-to-back with a specific focus on our Private Markets platform. The role will include the project responsibility for new fund and vehicle launches within the Private Markets area as well as designing, implementing and improving (new) operational requirements, investment features and functionalities along the entire Investment Management value chain. As a member of the Private Markets Buildout & Products team you will be encouraged to initiate, develop and implement new ideas for innovative private markets investment products and functional enhancements within the Investment Management business.
We are looking for a highly motivated project manager from all academic disciplines provided you have a solid understanding of the Investment Management value chain, relevant project experiences and a high affinity to Change as well as Private Markets.
What you will do
- Liaising with appropriate domain experts and business stakeholders for concept development and implementation of innovative products and functional enhancements
- Deliver projects and product launches with an early consideration of IT, accounting, legal, tax, risk and regulatory constraints by including the respective timeframe, budget and scope
- Potentially be responsible for larger scale programs or sub-projects related to shaping our target operating model for Private Markets
- Develop operational models and workflows as well as design technology and data solutions to meet the defined requirements and fitting to the overall Operating Model
- Identify strength and weaknesses of product offering and provide recommendations for new approach
What you bring
Technical skills:
- Solid understanding of the Investment Management business and value chain of front-, middle and back office functions and first experience with private markets investment products
- Solid understanding of the regulatory framework for investment managers, insurance investors and Private Markets Investment Funds domiciled in Europe, especially Luxembourg
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, in particular MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- IT-programming skills (Python, SQL, etc.) would be an asset
Personal Profile:
- Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, IT, engineering or related field of study
- At least 3 years experience in management or IT consulting or working in relevant departments of an Alternative Investment Management Company
- Ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple jurisdictions and entities
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability with a high level of accurancy and keen attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize and handle tasks and deadlines
- Hands-on, social, diplomatic team player with leadership skills
- Ability to work well in an international, diverse and highly interdisciplinary environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, fluent in English, additional language skills are a plus
