We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst (f/m/d) for Sourcing & Procurement within our Data & Technology function in Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI).
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the applications that support Sourcing & Procurement processes. This includes source to contract, procure to pay, contract lifecycle management, supplier lifecycle management, and third-party risk management.
This is an individual contributor role, ideal for someone with a strong background in managing and implementing Sourcing & Procurement applications.
This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.
What you will do
Business Analysis
- Establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating, and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases, overseeing development and implementation of solutions, considering the implications of change in AllianzGI and all stakeholders. Also, to lead practical integration work under the technical direction of the system /service designer.
Application Management:
- Manage and support the Sourcing & Procurement application, ensuring it meets the needs of the business and operates efficiently.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure seamless integration of the application with other systems.
Vendor and Service Management:
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of the relationship between AllianzGI and the service provider. Measures the perception about how services are delivered, how this influences the performance of the vendor and their perception of AllianzGI’s performance. Conducts vendor analysis and assesses effectiveness.
What you bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6 years of experience in managing and implementing Sourcing & Procurement applications
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process, including contract lifecycle management, supplier lifecycle management, and third-party risk management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and provide effective solutions
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Multitasking, and proactive thinking
- Can-do attitude, highly motivated and enjoys teamwork
- Excellent spoken and written English, with additional languages considered an advantage
Preferred:
- Experience with procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, industry leading CLM solutions, and other risk management and workflow tools
- Experience working in Agile environment and tools
- Experience in asset management or financial services industry
- Familiarity with the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and its Third Party
- Risk Management requirements
