Working Student Investment Data Area Engineering Chapter (f/m/d)

You will be part of the Investment Data Area (IDA) Engineering Chapter, whose primary mission is designing, developing and managing processes and systems with the aim to quality assure and provide investment data required and consumed by many functions at Allianz Global Investors.
All team members develop dual competencies: i) strong knowledge of business processes and related data sets and ii) advanced data analysis techniques. Our highly motivated team runs state-of-art solutions and technologies that manage the data generated by the investment value chain. The Static Product and Investment Strategy Information (SPISI) squad within IDA manages and supports the CEDAR Product Master application and its 1000+ internal users. We are responsible for bridging the gap between business and IT using data and analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver a robust product. In this context, we are seeking a working student whose focus will be on Automated Testing.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework solution of CEDAR
- Add new features and functionalities in the Test Framework to provide coverage for the new features and changes in CEDAR
- Daily monitor the Automated Test executions
- Assist the CEDAR Testing team in leveraging Automated Test Framework for CEDAR application testing
- Ensure the weekly releases in CEDAR application are checked and validated in lower environments by Automated Tests before deploying them to production.
What you bring
- Highly motivated Master’s student in Computer or Data Science. Alternatively, you are listed as a Bachelor’s student in a related disciplines for at least 4 semesters
- You speak fluent English. German or French would be a plus
- Proficiency in Core Java Basic to advanced SQL skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices
- Preferred: Hibernate, Automated Browser Testing Frameworks: Selenium and Cucumber, Object Oriented Programming and concepts, Design Patterns, Advanced Java features: Functional Programming, Lambda functions, Reflections, Familiarity with multithreaded programming concepts.
