We are currently looking for a Working Student to join the Data Steward Chapter within the SPISI (Static Product & Investment Strategy Information) Squad! The position will be based in our Frankfurt office.
About the Job
The Investment Data Area (IDA) of one of the world's leading asset managers is looking for a motivated Working Student to join the SPISI (Static Product & Investment Strategy Information) Squad. SPISI is a multidisciplinary team of business experts, data stewards, analysts, and engineers responsible for the end-to-end management of AllianzGI's static product data.
The squad manages and enhances CEDAR, AllianzGI's Product Master application serving more than 1,300 users globally, while also developing the SPISI data product on the One Data Platform. Its mission is to provide easy access to high-quality product data and bridge the gap between business and technology through data, analytics, and governance.
This role offers the opportunity to support data quality initiatives, contribute to data governance activities, and help deliver trusted data products and solutions across the organization.
What you do
- Support the SPISI squad in project-related activities and timelines, with a particular focus on data quality
- Help bridge the gap between business and IT to deliver robust products and trusted data solutions
- Understand business problems and develop as well as refine data quality checks using SQL
- Support the development of efficient change management practices to ensure a smooth transition from Change to Run
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for implemented solutions
- Contribute ideas and improvements to existing processes and ways of working
- Support data analysis, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across platforms and data products.
What you bring
- Master's student in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (alternatively, at least four completed semesters in a Bachelor's program)
- Fluent in English; German or French language skills are a plus
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel skills and a strong affinity for working with data and numbers
- Basic to advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Power BI or other programming languages is an advantage
- Interest in data quality, data governance, and analytics
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
